Itinerary

  1. Day 1 — Arrival in Nairobi

    Morning: Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Meet-and-greet by your representative and transfer to Argyle Grand for check-in and rest.

    Afternoon: A relaxed, light introductory activity in Nairobi to ease into the trip after travel — options include a stroll through a local craft market or a short orientation drive through the city, paced for children.

    Evening: Dinner at the hotel.

  2. Day 2 — Nairobi National Park & Carnivore

    Morning: After breakfast, depart for a game drive in Nairobi National Park — the world’s only national park within a capital city. Look out for lions, rhinos, giraffes, buffalo, and abundant birdlife, all with the city skyline as a backdrop.

    Afternoon: Lunch en route or at a local restaurant, followed by free time back at the hotel to relax.

    Evening: Dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant — Nairobi’s iconic open-fire nyama choma experience, a memorable treat for the whole family.

  3. Day 3 — Karen Blixen Museum & Giraffe Centre

    Morning: Visit the Karen Blixen Museum, the former farmhouse of the author of Out of Africa, for a walk through Kenya’s colonial-era history and beautifully preserved gardens.

    Afternoon: Lunch at a nearby restaurant, then continue to the Giraffe Centre, where the family can hand-feed and get up close with endangered Rothschild giraffes — a firm favourite with children.

    Evening: Dinner at the hotel.

  4. Day 4 — David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust & Bomas of Kenya

    Morning: Visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to watch orphaned baby elephants being fed and playing in the mud — a heart-warming, gentle-paced activity ideal for younger children.

    Afternoon: Lunch at a local restaurant, then head to Bomas of Kenya for an immersive cultural experience: traditional homesteads from Kenya’s various communities and a live tribal dance and music performance.

    Evening: Dinner at the hotel.

  5. Day 5 — Departure

    Morning: Breakfast at the hotel, check-out, and transfer to the airport for departure.

Cancellation & Hotel Policy

  • Reservations may be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before arrival
  • Cancellations after this window, or no-shows, incur a one-night room charge including applicable taxes
  • Date changes within the 48-hour window are treated as a cancellation and re-booking
  • No refunds for early departures
  • Check-in from 14:00; check-out by 12:00
  • Early arrival before 10:00 requires pre-registration the previous night and a one-night charge; arrivals from 10:00 are subject to room availability
  • Late check-out up to 18:00 is charged at 50% of the room rate; after 18:00 at 100%
  • The hotel’s cancellation policy may be revised at any time at the hotel’s discretion
